Join this popular tour for four days in July, or just ride for the weekend. Whichever, you choose you will want to be ready on the morning of Saturday, July 14th when charter buses transport the entire group to Cumberland for the start of this great adventure, but be warned . . . This event may become habit forming! |

Day
One |
Saturday, July 14 On the first day you will ride through the spectacular Paw Paw Tunnel before ending the day at Little Orleans (about 45 miles). That night enjoy a fantastic meal prepared by the San Mar Volunteer Association and enjoy a swim in one of the pools. Afterwards you may want to end the day with a relaxing massage. If you do not desire to camp and you have not taken advantage of the Golden Retriever Plan transportation is available to local hotels. You will be responsible for any hotel fees for the first two nights.

| |
Day
Two |
Sunday, July 15 On the second day you will travel along the towpath to McMahon's Mill (about 60 miles). There the group will leave the towpath and go to a nearby campground. If you are riding for only the weekend you will be taken back to your car following dinner, or you may arrange for someone to pick you up at the camp. Once again transportation will be provided to nearby hotels. A limited number of cabins are available at the campground. You must make your own arrangements with the campground for the cabins.

| |
Day
Three |
Monday, July 16 On this day you will ride with the group to White's Ferry (about 60 miles) where you will cross the Potomac on the ferry and be transported into Leesburg where you will find a soft bed and hot meal waiting for you (at no additional cost to you). Once again you can relax in the pool or enjoy another soothing massage from one of our popular sports massage therapists.

Day
Four |
Tuesday, July 17 On the final day of our adventure we will stop for lunch at Great Falls before proceeding on to Georgetown (about 35 miles) and the finale. You will also find that by the time you and your new friends have arrived at lunch the whole concept of "The Dog Team" begins to take on an entirely new meaning. You are about to complete almost 200 miles on a bicycle. Are you Dog Tired or Super Dog? When you finally arrive in Georgetown your accomplishment will be celebrated by everyone and you will receive your official "Dog Team" patch before the charter buses take everyone back to San Mar.
