Case Manager with San Mar Treatment Foster Care

Job description: Managing a caseload of eight, the role of the case manager is to build a therapeutic alliance with each youth and help to facilitate the care they receive.

About TFC: The children we serve have suffered all forms of physical and emotional maltreatment, such as sexual abuse and neglect which has resulted in significant harm to the child’s health, development and dignity. For these reasons there are children who cannot live with their families. Treatment Foster Care at San Mar thoughtfully places children in foster homes where they can realize there is a safe place in the world for them. In that place, they will find the stability, structure and loving guidance they need.

Position is Full-Time and requires licensure in the State of Maryland at the Licensed Social Work Associate (LSWA) level.

Direct Care Worker/Residential Counselors

San Mar programs include two Therapeutic Group Homes, High Intensity Group Home and an Interdependent Living Home. From time to time we are in need of direct care staff. These folks provide direct supervision to the teenage girls (12 to 18 year of age)in our care. We operate with three shifts per day, 7AM-3PM, 3PM to 11PM and 11PM to 7AM.Staff are expected to work every other weekend. We provide our coverage with both full and part time positions. Full Time positions have an excellent benefit plan that includes: health and dental insurance and paid time off benefits. Minimum requirements for work are to be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or a GED, a clean background check with child protective service and federal and state background investigation, a clear drug test, employee physical, and provide three (3) written reference from previous employers, or persons that can verify your credibility to work with children.
